Allison Cassens was 32 years old at the time of
her diagnosis of colon cancer. She lived another 16 months before
she lost her battle to cancer. Allison was a daughter, a sister,
an aunt, a friend, an exceptional teacher, a mentor, a pilot, as
well as an inspiration to all of us who knew her.
ABOUT ALLISON'S FRIENDS
OF HOPE |
Her strong faith in God, her love
of life and that ever-present, angelic smile had a profound
impact on each and everyone she met. In Allison's will,
she stated that she wanted everyone to "utilize their talents
in order to benefit the advancement of medicine and to
help those participating in research to find a cure for
cancer." To honor Allison's wishes, her close friends have
established a foundation, Allison's Friends of Hope.This
foundation is a non-profit organization based on the premise
of friendship, love and support for those facing the challenges
of cancer.
